Just before 2:00 p.m. on April 11, 2023, twelve members of the Hawaii Kai Lions Club met with Coleen Lashway, Head Librarian of the Hawaii Kai Library. Marja Leivo and Frances Lum presented her with two $500.00 checks as donations to the library from our Club and the Nagoya Joto Lions Club. Also present were: Ken Nishibun, David Iwana, CIS Iris Iwana, Yolisa Ishibashi, Cynthia Chun, Mino Takaesu, Kazuaki Nakano, Nancy Rocheleau, Roger Ede, and CIS Lyn Yee.
