February 19th – Hawaii Kai Lions Raising Funds for the Maui Foodbank/Lahaina Wildfires

On August 8, 2023, the wildfires on Maui devastated Lahaina city.  The aftermath of thousands of people without homes or food was heartbreaking; such that by August 11, an e-mail went out from our club, spearheaded by Lion Eric Kvick, to fundraise for the Maui Food Bank.  A total of $6,306 from 40 donors was raised within a few days to help the Maui Food Bank in their efforts to feed those in need.
