June 6th – Leo Scholarship Award Presentation

The Hawaii Kai Lions and Kaiser HS Leos are both service organizations. Kaiser High School Leos club helps students learn about leadership and service. This year, the Kaiser High School Leo Advisor submitted the Leo Spotlight Lions Club application for the Hawaii Kai Lions Club and the club was awarded the Leo Spotlight award at the D50 convention.

The Leos assist with Eyeglass cleaning, Kamiloiki Keiki carnival, Kapahulu senior center and other projects.

Every year the Hawaii Kai Lions recognize 1 or 2 Leos who have shown leadership and service skills. This year, President Logan Doi and Secretary Gabriel Argotte were each awarded $750 scholarships. Logan will be attending Texas Tech and Gabe will be attending Honolulu Community College.
