April 9th – Easter Eggstravaganza

After a 2 year interruption due to COVID-19, the annual Easter Eggstravaganza was held at Koko Head District Park complex on Saturday, April 9.  Lions Jeanne Alices, Reiko Caires, Cynthia Chun, Alvin Hayashibara, Frances Lum Ken Nishibun, and Ellsworth Fujii assisted with registration.  This year, the parents had to register their children and it was limited to the first 200 children.  The Easter egg hunt was held on the 4 baseball fields by age group. Lions from Palolo and Cyber helped with the on-field coning and placing of plastic eggs on the fields.  There was 1 special egg in each age group which was awarded an Easter basket. It was nice to see the excitement of children having fun again! Including Lion Frances lining up to race the kids to gather eggs.
