August 6th – American Heart Association

Annual AHA Walk & Health Fair

Bright and early on Saturday morning, August 6, 2022 Hawaii Kai Lions along with assistance from Koko Head Lions, and Diamond Head Lions, arrived at Kapiolani Park to assist the American Heart Association with their Annual Walk and Health Fair.  This year we were charged with controlling the VIP, vendors, volunteers, and participants’ parking lots from 4:30 am until 9:30am. Over 3,000 participants walked and or ran one to three miles around the park and then spent time visiting the various vendors for health screenings etc.  Thank you to all the Lions from Hawaii Kai as well as Koko Head Lions and Diamond Lions who assisted with this annual project.
