February 4th – Going Green E-Waste Recycling,  Kahala Elementary School

Kahala Elementary School hosted a Going Green E-Waste Recycling event on February 4.  The Koko Head Lions club organized volunteers from several Lions Clubs on Oahu to direct traffic and remove donated items from cars.  As it was a rainy day and the recycler was short-handed, electronics items were stored in the school auditorium to be picked up later.

A variety of recyclable items were collected including office and home electronics, clothing, food, drink containers, batteries, and glasses.
