July 1st – Kapuna Card Project

Throughout the months of May and June, along with Father’s Day cards, this group has been making cards for the Pediatric Program of Kapiolani Medical Center to be given to children diagnosed with cancer and their families. The cards were requested by District 50 Lion, Virginia McMahon, Chair, Pediatric Program at the Medical Center. The cards were for various holidays and occasions.

Our group made many cards and embellished some premade cards, most with messages and some blank inside.
Marja Leivo delivered 114 cards to Virginia McMahon on July 1, 2022. She planned to sort the cards by
occasion and include them with cards submitted by other Lions Clubs in the District to be delivered to the Medical Center.
