Koko Head Elementary School Keiki Karnival
This past March 22nd, the Hawaii Kai Lions Helped Make the Koko Head Elementary School Keiki Karnival a Success! Hundreds of children and adults enjoyed an afternoon of food, fun, and frivolity at the annual Koko Head Elementary School Keiki Karnival! Twelve Hawaii Kai Lions and CIS Florence Nishioka worked at various jobs including assisting in the Food booths, Crazy Hair booth, the Victory Slides, the Bounce House, the Cotton Candy stand, and the Prize Redemption booth. Also, as usual, C.F. Leu was the “bag man” going around to all the booths collecting their monies, with Tommy Chun sorting and processing all the coins and bills. Hawaii Kai Lions and CIS working on this project included: Roy Aoki, Delwin Ching, Tommy Chun, Alex Ho, Walter Kuroiwa, C.F. Leu, Ken Nishibun, Toshi Nishioka, CIS Florence Nishioka, Clara Ozaki, Apoliono Sindiong, Mino Takaesu, and Merv Wee.
