November 19th – Kaiwi Coast Run & Walk fundraiser for Hui Nalu Canoe Club

Hui Nalu’s annual fundraiser is the Kaiwi Coast Run & Walk is held the Sunday before Thanksgiving each year.  They gratefully thank the following Hawaii Kai Lions for their volunteer support.  Lion Ellsworth Fujii arrived at Sandy Beach around 5:30am and was invaluable at the start of the event with crowd control.  He was assisted by CIS Nancy Kvick.  Lions Cynthia Chun, Erick Kvick, Marja Leivo and Ronnie Ong were stationed by Hanauma Bay for crowd control and encouragement for the participants.  Nancy and Bob Rocheleau are on the Kaiwi Coast Steering Committee and helped at the start of the race and then stopped by Hanauma Bay.
